Toast

It's pretty chilly on the east coast these days. I'm always cold, especially my hands and feet, and in winter that just translates to freezing. I had to do something about that. So I knit a pair of Toast. This pattern is called Toast for a reason. They keep your hands and arms nice and toasty. But they could be called Cake, because they were a piece of cake to make.

P.S. It's awfully hard to take pictures of gloves while you're wearing them.

Pattern: Toast by a Friend to knit with
Needles: Size 7 dpn's
Yarn: Patons Classic Wool in Grey Mix

oh nice!! (and I thought that with sewing all those napkins your hand would be warm anyway...)

These are on my to-do list too, glad to hear they are so easy! Thanks for the comment about my ring :) I have been thinking about the whole napkin/quilt thing ever since I saw your post... we are just going to do a very informal after-ceremony party at home (I have already been married before with all the hoopla) but was thinking of making little cocktail napkins with fabrics and then using them to make a small quilt. Oh! Or I could have people sign a piece of large white fabric and cut up the napkins to make a border... have to go write that one down. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!
