Fabric Scrap Giveaway!

Someone once told me that they wished they could crawl up and live in my scrap bin. Well, now's your chance (er, sort of)! My scraps are starting to explode out of the large bin I hold them in and it's time to make room for new scraps. Please leave a comment for your chance to win a priority mail flat rate box stuffed to the seams with both large and small fabric scraps (and some fat quarters too!), including but not limited to these wonderful designers:

Anna Maria Horner, Tula Pink, Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, Momo, Sandi Henderson, and more!

Leave a comment by May 31st telling me what you would like to make with these scraps: doll quilt? patchwork belt? applique? The possibilities are endless! I'll draw one random winner on June 1st and will ship the scraps off on June 3rd. I will ship internationally.

Be sure to check out the other great giveaways going on right now over at the Sew Mama Sew blog. Good luck!

I'm a scrap sewer by nature, I think. I thrive on working the scrap bin. I'd likely use scraps for little applique, accent pieces, little pouches and such. Plus, my kids love to use the scrap bin for art creations.

Please enter me in the draw, and don't forget to enter mine. :)

I make patchwork toys, so these would be wonderful. I don't have a shop or sell them, but I have lots of grandkids and friends with kids to give them all good homes.

Ooo. Box of scraps? hmmm... I'd make a new camera strap. Then, if there is enough, a patchwork belt. Some of the bigger pieces may go to some reverse appliques to refresh some shirts. Finally, anything left over will go into a crazy quilt I'm working on.

Wow! This is a super giveaway!!! I would use them to make some fabric baskets, patchwork bags, cards and bookmarks and of course some wonderful scrappy quilts!

OH MY GOSH! My heart just jumped! I'm just now starting to learn to quilt and am quite sure that I could put every scrap to use that you can stuff into that box. Plus I also do machine embroidery and recently obtained some crazy quilt blocks done in machine embroidery so more fabric scraps are needed for those as well. I'm totally crossing my fingers for this giveaway. Thank you.

After a long absence from sewing, I once again have time. Unfortunately, when you don't sew, you also don't generate scraps, and I think having those little pieces to work with inspires creativity more than a trip to the fabric store. I'm learning all over again. Doll clothes, clothes for my granddaughters. I see a quilt in my future.

Ooh, I am such a sucker for scraps :)
I'm just a beginning quilter, and scared to quilt my first top until I've had some more practice, so I think some doll sized quilts might be in order for my daughter's teddies. She won't care too much about wobbly stippling!

Hi all,
Scraps? Anyone has said scraps? Can you imagine a cat when a tuna/gourmet tin has been opened? This is my expression when I read scraps!!
I love scraps, the much different the better. If I won I could use it on a doll quilt or in a beautiful bag. But I will be so glad with them!

Thanks for this giveaway.

Warm regards,

Elena

here's the thing: i don't know yet what i want to make with them! i have a green quilt in the works, so green scraps would likely go there; i have a baby quilt to do, so all sorts of possibilities there; i DO want to make fabric belts, and have been meaning to do so forever. :) i guess i'll just see what they lend themselves to!

I would like to start my adventure with patchworks and quilts. I've already made one for my cousin's weeding. All my family was thrilled. Now i'm thinking about making something for myself, my parents and sister. And maybe also for some little ones that were born to my friends. Unfortunately i don't have my sewing machine with my, while i'm studying, so all this planes will have to wait for summer holydays.
