So, the brown shirt did not come out quite as planned. User error, I'm sure. I still have a lot to learn about working with knits. I'll try to take a picture soon when it's light out.

stephanie- how do you like the brother serger? i am i the market and just ran across it along with a Kenmore one. Both are in my price range!
When I use knits I just hold my breath until I am finished. That is why I only use knits to make pjs for my girl. That way the mistakes are only seen by the family. I am so impressed you even change your serger thread to match your garment.....

I like the Brother serger a lot! I've had it about a year and havn't had any trouble with it.
